The Colorado Rockies acquired 30-year old lefty reliever Jake McGee from the Tampa Bay Rays last winter for outfielder Corey Dickerson.  McGee has pitched in 56 games (0 starts) for the Rockies so far this year and he is 2-3 with 15 saves, a 4.73 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP.  He has given up 55 hits (9 homers) and 15 walks while whiffing 38 batters in his first 45 2/3 innings for the Rockies this year.  McGee has pitched better since the All-Star Game, working in 27 games (0 starts) for the Rockies in which he is 2-0 with a 3.05 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP.  McGee has now pitched in 353 games (0 starts) in his first seven years in the show and he is 23-14 with 41 saves, a 3.07 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP.  Don’t be surprised if the Rockies deal McGee this winter, as he has had big time issues pitching at Coors Field.
